TRIP LEADER: DAVID HAMILTON
David Hamilton grew up in Northern California, throughout Humboldt, Lassen, and Plumas counties and graduated from Quincy High School and Feather River College before earning a BS in Wildlife from Humboldt State University. He worked in Tahoe National Forest before returning to Quincy and working with Plumas Audubon Society for two seasons on the Flammulated Owl and the Grebe projects in their early development. He now works US Forest Service as Wildlife Crew Leader out of the Mount Hough Ranger District. David enjoys hunting, fishing, birding, hiking, canoeing, photography, working around the house– anything that gets the family outdoors. He and his wife, Aimee, their two daughters, Azalea and Dezlyn, and two black labs love living in Quincy where the water is clean, nature is so close, and the adventures abound.
