Plumas Conservation, Restoration, & Education in Watersheds (P-CREW)

Plumas Conservation, Restoration, and Education in Watersheds (P-CREW) is a paid five-week job opportunity for high school students to learn new skills as they live, work, and play in Plumas and Lassen National Forests. Sierra Institute for Community and Environment offers this exciting program to help restore areas impacted by forest fires and increase watershed resiliency around the headwaters of the State Water Project. Participants gain new experiences and job skills while working with project partners such as Plumas and Lassen National Forest and The Feather River Land Trust.
