Why a Podcast?
We decided we wanted to start a podcast right now in order to capture our rural communities' voices during this unprecedented time of COVID19. As we all collectively and individually navigate what a normal day looks like, ponder the future, and figure out how we function as parents, students, teachers, partners, business owners, health workers, and more - we’ve all had to recalibrate what normal means. We want to capture and share these experiences to connect and relate to one another both in our struggle and resiliency during the COVID19 pandemic and beyond.
What's It About?
A community-centered, human-focused exploration of the social systems and livelihoods affected by COVID-19 in the rural Sierra Nevada communities of Northern California.
