Digital Community Conversation with the Lake Almanor Watershed Group

The Lake Almanor Watershed Group (LAWG) would like to invite you to a digital community discussion this coming Wednesday, April 8.
Guest speakers will include Dr. Gina Johnston who will give an update on the latest water quality measurements. Nils Lunder, from the Feather River Land Trust and Mountain Meadows Conservancy will fill us in on their latest work and how they are adapting to current challenges. Dov Weinman, from Sierra Institute for Community and Environment, will share news on their collaborative wildfire fuels mitigation and landscape restoration projects. AND MORE!
Topics will include water quality, safe access, current and future projects that will benefit the health of Lake Almanor and surrounding region, both environmentally, economically and culturally.

Our special guests will be joining the Zoom meeting from 5:00 pm to 6:00pm.
Our core group of volunteers, the intrepid LAWG committee will be having their monthly meeting from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm and you are welcome to join us then as well.
