Cross Laminated Timber in Plumas County
We are pleased to announce the launch of the Disadvantaged Communities Involvement Project (DACIP), which will identify and work with Tribal, underrepresented and low-capacity communities throughout the Sierra to increase their capacity in planning projects that address water related issues such as watershed health, wastewater treatment, and water quality. More information and resources will be available in 2018.
Better Together Resilient Communities Grant Program Recipient
South Lassen Watershed Group, facilitated by Sierra Institute, was awarded the grant in acknowledgement of the value in bringing diverse stakeholders together to plan for the future of forest management, climate resilience, and economic development in critical upper watersheds in the Northern Sierra.
