Its been an extraordinary winter in Plumas County.
The image of the lake rising above the trees is fresh in the minds of folks living in the Upper Feather River Watershed. February featured lots of water and our Department of Conservation watershed program study giving us some insights into our State’s water focused management approaches. From all of the spotlight on our rivers and valleys, we want to now transition our spotlight to a very important group in our community. The youth. Youth being the people who are energetic, innocent, resilient and courageous in the face of the ever demanding future. March will be featuring Spotlight: Youth Stewardship.
Join us each Friday in March 2017 for a look into our current youth programming and the impact that investing in our youth has on our community.
